The world is changing and so is the finance regulatory reporting landscape. In this role you will follow-up newly issued regulatory reporting legislation, analyze the new reporting requirements, set groupwide regulatory reporting requirements (that are also to be include in the strategic new Finance and Risk reporting architecture). This is all based on the solid knowledge of international developments related regulatory reporting, that you will further build up within your role as Regulatory Reporting Policies Expert, in combination with good collaboration with your team members and (internal) stakeholders.

- As an expert (in co-operation with your team members and other departments) you will be responsible for following up closely on new regulations and guidelines related to regulatory reporting requirements, assess regulatory impact of new products/ transactions and setting regulatory reporting requirements (data management).
- At the start your primary field of attention will be FINREP, DGS and data management (Finance & Risk Data Model). Growth path to broaden your field of expertise on regulatory reporting is expected (continuous learning) and foreseen.
- You will work with a wide range of stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to build a network within the organization. Keeping your stakeholders informed on new regulations is a key part of the role and being able to effectively transfer knowledge over complex regulatory requirements is crucial.
- As an expert you will receive many ad hoc questions, which contributes to a highly dynamic environment where no day is the same.
Your department
Policies & Internal Control is set up within Financial Accounting at ABN AMRO Group level. The department consists of 3 teams of experts in the field of Regulatory Policies, IFRS Policies and Internal Control. You will become part of the Regulatory Policies team. Within this team, you will be part of a group of dedicated regulatory reporting policy specialists. Policies & Internal Control department is ABN AMRO’s center of expertise (knowledge center) regarding identifying, interpreting and assessing the impact of new regulations related to financial, regulatory and sustainable finance reporting and translating this in reporting requirements, defining reporting data attributes and reporting policies/ standards. In this role the experts of the department are in the lead for defining reporting data attributes (data governance: reporting definition owner), communicating them across the organization and advising on adequate regulations’ implementation. This based on extensive knowledge of and experience in regulations and/ or accounting standards.
Your profile
- You have at least 3 years (Hay 10) or 7 years (Hay 11) of experience in regulatory reporting.
- You have obtained a relevant Bachelor's or University Degree, preferably related to Economics, Finance, Accounting or Auditing.
- You have an interest in regulatory and external reporting.
- You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are a keen learner.
- You are an enthusiastic team player and work well in a network environment.
- You can form an opinion on complex matters and transfer this knowledge to wide audience of stakeholders effectively.
- Pré: experience with regulatory reporting (prudential (FINREP. DGS) and/ or statistical) and the CRD / CRR frameworks.

- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
