IT Engineer Power BI

In this job you will work as an IT Engineer for Power BI in the Asset and Liability Management (ALM) Grid. Your job
As an IT Engineer for Power BI, you will be working in a multidisciplinary Scrum team together with a group of (business) developers. Your team plays a pivotal, data related role in the monthly processes of the entire Grid. Furthermore, your work may include:
- Creating reports and insights through the use of Power BI
- Supporting your stakeholders with data analysis to grasp the impact of process changes.
- Taking ownership and solving incidents together with your team.
- Exchanging technical knowledge and learning from each other.
- Collaborating with other departments within the bank.

The ALM Grid is part of IT Finance and Risk (IT F&R). Our department has a lot of different nationalities (so a good understanding of the English language is a must) and we have an open and social culture where we value interpersonal skills at least as much as technical skills. Your profile
You have a proactive mindset and are not afraid to tackle problems head on. You have excellent communication skills and are able to deliver a message clearly and concisely. You are able to read and understand data in SQL databases and are able to write your own queries (ranging from joins over multiple tables to different groupings of data in our final table) to analyse stakeholder questions. You are able to create reports using Power BI.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in the IT area, such as (business) analysis, development or DevOps.
- Some experience with the Agile Scrum way of working.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its tooling is a plus.
- Finance and/or Risk management experience is a plus.
