About the Job
As we continue to scale and evolve, we are looking to strengthen our financial capabilities to support this growth. We are seeking an ambitious, hands-on Finance Director who is not only ready to lead but also eager to roll up their sleeves and contribute directly to the day-to-day operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the financial details while taking on a leadership role in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting key financial processes such as forecasting, budgeting, and evaluating new initiatives. You will also play a key role in analyzing the company’s financial performance and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. While you will lead the finance team, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working closely with C-level management and is hands-on in managing and executing essential financial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Take control and actively manage day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end/year-end closing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Shape and execute the future of finance vision and driving transformation projects.
- Take a hands-on role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and annual audits.
- Create strong frameworks that provides insightful financial analysis to support decision-making at the C-level.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while being actively involved in their day-to-day activities.
- Collaborate closely with C-level management on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning, and play a direct role in executing these processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams.
- Relevant higher education, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in the industry is a big plus.
