As an Accounting, Reporting & Compliance associate, you help companies to be in control of their compliance and reporting processes.

Job Description & Summary

Companies are increasingly confronted with complex laws and regulations, governments that demand full transparency and an increasing need of (real-time) information from internal and external stakeholders of a company. Do you want to make the difference with regard to these major challenges for our customers? Are you also curious about the use of new technological solutions and are you a team player? Then this is your vacancy!

What will you be doing?

As an Accounting, Reporting & Compliance associate, you help companies to be in control of their compliance and reporting processes. You do this, among other things, by advising on the design of the internal financial processes and identifying and implementing new technological solutions for the customer. This enables companies to have their compliance in order and to be able to report to all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

You start in a broad role ('traineeship') and you will work in an informal multidisciplinary team of accountants, tax specialists and data and technology specialists. This is an energetic and motivated group of people with great growth ambitions. Ultimately, you will grow within the team to the expertise in which you feel most at home.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • You are involved in advising companies to anticipate the information needs of relevant stakeholders on the one hand and changing legislation and regulations on the other, and you determine how they can optimally organize their financial function.
  • You advise and support companies with regard to optimizing financial and administrative processes (automation).
  • With the help of technological possibilities, such as data extraction and dashboarding, you help customers to make optimal use of their available data for internal reporting, but also for external reporting obligations.
  • In the first years of your career, you will also be involved in compiling the statutory annual accounts/publication documents, as well as preparing and drawing up tax returns, in order to be able to advise clients optimally about the design of their financial processes.
