Integration Engineer for CoE Integration and API’s

Within ICS' Information & Technology, we're searching for a Integration expert to put your experience build up the Center of Excellence for Integration and API, in helping the organization to achieve a high through put and reduce time to market.

Your job

A typical day in the life of…

• You start the day by joining the daily standup
• Align with both Architecture and Development teams to understand they have adhered to the CoE guidelines
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the CoE activities with regards to Integration and API development
• Contribute to the Reusable Assets

You’ll be working with the Center for Excellence team of ICS: CoE is a small team of engineers & coaches with the goal of making development teams’ lives better and more fun by increasing the speed and quality of code and research new possibilities. They do so by offering greater learning choices combined with experimenting new technologies and much more. 

We like to keep things informal and prefer working together on things via pairing or mobbing; everything that can be automated, we try to automate. And we’re always looking for that next improvement! 

Your Profile

You have a good experience in solving difficult problems in multiple teams. That experience has shaped you into an effective expert that can help to setup the best practices, frameworks documentation templates for ICS IT. You do what is necessary to achieve results, without being constrained by a traditional division of roles, tasks, development methodologies, or other sacred cows. You have an innate drive to improve yourself and your (practical) knowledge. We’re keen to hear what you have recently learned during a meetup or conference that you attended (online).

• 8 Years of Experience Integration and API development (a background as a development or ops engineer is a very strong plus) 
• Strong in Integration and API principles
• You have strong experience in Azure API Manager
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps team
• Knowledge of Cloud computing; Microsoft Azure would be a preferred
• You’ve learned the ropes through trial & error, failure & experience
• Very skilled in communicating with IT teams as well as non-IT stakeholders
•  A strong network that you can rely on for questions and solutions
