Your job

As an Advanced Analytics & AI Organisation Advisor in the Value Proposition Team (VPT) of our Data Management department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how the bank applies Advanced Analytics & AI. The Data Management department creates the capabilities that enable the entire bank to turn data into value, including the Advanced Analytics & AI capability. By aligning people, processes and technology to balance efficiency and reliability, you contribute to becoming a data driven bank.

Your work includes

Organising tactical alignment between our Data Management teams and the Advanced Analytics & AI stakeholders of the bank
Driving the working group that develops the responsible AI practices and tools in ABN AMRO
Creating guidance for all teams in ABN AMRO to work with Advanced Analytics & AI
Providing support to the teams regarding the ABN AMRO Advanced Analytics & AI way of working, particularly for teams that are starting
Making updates to our Advanced Analytics & AI curriculum and learning paths

Furthermore, you are an active contributor to the topics your colleagues in the team are working on:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design data management capabilities, including analytics and AI, that align with our strategic objectives
Anticipating future challenges, emerging trends and technologies and other opportunities in data management and analytics
Driving strategic initiatives (e.g. EU AI Act) to enhance our data management capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and future needs

This role requires the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, understanding of and some hands-on experience with data analytics, including Machine Learning and AI, and an understanding of the broader topic of data management.

Working environment

The Value Proposition Team consists of data management and analytics experts and enthusiasts and ensures that the Data Management department thinks ahead on a tactical and sometimes strategic level in the design of the data management capabilities over a longer time horizon (1-2 years), including analytics & AI. The department is complementary to three other departments that focus mainly on operations (building applications and adoption). You will work closely with these and other departments in in CDO and with stakeholders and users of our data management capabilities throughout the bank.

Your profile

Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or Data Science
At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, preferably including AI
Strong understanding of industry-standard data analytics practices and technologies and data analytics concepts, principles and practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Always interested in different perspectives and curious to get new insights from colleagues as well as the industry
Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus)
